KG FARMS TIGERLILYS DAHLIA

Dahlia is our herd queen and my heart goat. We acquired her along with her sister as un-bred 2 year olds. There wasn't a lot documented on the girls but there was a lot of potential so we rolled the dice and brought them home.
Dahlia was the dark horse apparent in the show ring boasting a strong shoulder, level top line, depth of barrel, high and tight rear udder attachment and smooth movement. She really is a hidden gem and we hoped to finish her championship legs but she suffered a horrific staph infection from a rat bite on her teat and udder...I was devastated. We dried her off 2 months after she freshened to let her heal and are so relieved that she made a full recovery! She freshened with her beautiful udder as if there were never any issues.

Meet photo-phobic Dynamic Hunter's Sassoon. She came out the gate running when she won her restricted leg and reserve junior best in show as a three month old kid! The following year we limited our shows as I recovered from major surgery and the one show we made it to we showed under AOP where she managed a reserve champion win in one ring against some beautiful and obviously much larger Alpines. The biggest hit came early for us as we realized that our senior buck wasn't settling our does and unfortunately our junior buck just didn't get her in time so she sat dry for 2020.
We are hopeful to be able to attend shows this year and anxiously await her next linear appraisal.

Introducing GCH Just More Kids Dandelion 1*M. We acquired her over the Summer and just couldn't pass on her wonderful width, depth, rump, and milk production. She scored an 89 VEEV as a 6 year old (she's 8 now) and earned her permanent championship when she was only 3 years old! We are absolutely thrilled to have this sturdy milk machine in our herd!

Kelly spends her days at shows playing leap frog with Sassoon. Kelly offers a more refined bone structure and sharpness making her a pick for dairy character. She also puts it in the pail at milking and we are excited to get back on milk testing this year after my post-surgery hiatus. Her strong udder attachment, teat placement, and dairy structure make her a lovely, sharp looking girl.

We don't have very many Nigerian Dwarf because my daughter raises them for her 4-H project until she is old enough to show standard sized dairy goats. That being said, we work to continually improve the quality of this line while maintaining our under 20" sized does.
We are so excited to get this sweet gal in the show ring and appraised this year for a better evaluation of how well we've improved through the pandemic.
